Dear Leechard,
I share your views in the essay of 3.1.08 that Love is the most important thing, even more important than religion, than hope, than science, etc. If so, the most important and powerful 'thing' in the world is the religion talking about/focusing on 'love' - the Christian love. Is this correct?
Ivy
Dear Ivy,
I didnt say the most important thing on earth is the religion itself.
What i did say is that love is the most important of ALL.
And Love can not be titled as "Christian love" or other kinds of love.
As for the "origin of love", actually, it was brought to the earth by Jesus Christ.
Before Christ, people in the West knew more about "law" then "love". In the older Greek literature, no one mentioned about love. The Isop's Fable, (伊索寓言)talked only about wisdom, or how to do things wisely, but not one single idea about love.
To love one another, even love your enemy, is mentioned by Jesus Christ only. No one
before him has said similarly.
Even Zhuang Zi, He had never mentioned about love. He said only that we are one, though it implies love.
