怎能在歷朝斲喪之後,仍然生存?

In my the Hong Kong 1980s world history class, the teacher taught us that political system in China is dynastic.

While working with Chinese, I notice that we need first need to know our "roles" before actions can be taken. And most of the time no improvement can be done without a top-down initiatvies. Is it because we then think that we are out of our role? and our role has to be defined by authorities? Is this the system we believe in?

Back to politics: even with foreign conquerors like Mongols and Manchu, they are part of Chinese dynasties. Otherwise, the Chinese (the non Mongols and non Manchu) could not understand.
